Thoughts and Prayers is the first vinyl release from our studio in the Cotswolds, and represents a lot of time and effort into creating a record to stand the test of time, as well as to demonstrate the power of our studio, located in a central market town which is the capital of the Cotswolds.

This is the first of several releases of the music of Paul Turney who has been running Sirensound since beginning a contract with the British Library Sound Archive in 2001.

The studio has evolved from an archiving facility to a more broader recording setup, with an acoustically treated room for acoustic recording of drums, voice, percussion and brass.

We record to Pyramix for a stable environment and have diversified into Voice over work and the recording of AudioBooks

Turning a post-production workshop into a multi-track recording facility using legacy equipment typically found in large recording studios (or a museum!).

Keeping old technologies up to date regarding playability and usefulness can create the most incredible sounds years after obsolescence has set in. And that’s just the equipment!

i am humbled by the great playing, singing and the warm and gracious friendship. This assembled group and myself, playing these songs I wrote, makes up… The Human condition
